Where It All Started

Established on November 18, 2019, in Ajax, Ontario, Sweetie Bear was born out of pure nostalgia. Growing up in Asia, our founder was used to a world where two or three vibrant convenience stores sat right outside your doorstep, packed with endless snack varieties.

 

When our founder moved to Canada, they quickly realized that finding those beloved childhood treats was much harder than it should be. Missing the joy of discovering a new favorite snack, the idea for Sweetie Bear was sparked: a place to bring those exact joyful experiences to our local community in Canada.
